What "rarity" means on RNGdle.net

Number rarity is a way of asking a simple question: out of every number in a fixed range, how unusual is this one? RNGdle.net answers that by analyzing all 1,000,001 numbers from 0 to 1,000,000, counting how often each notable property occurs, and turning those exact frequencies into a single comparable score.

Rarity is about frequency, not opinion

A property is rare when few numbers have it. Palindromes, perfect cubes and all-identical-digit numbers are rare because there are genuinely few of them. Instead of assigning arbitrary bonuses, RNGdle.net measures the exact count for each property and converts it to information content: the fewer numbers share a trait, the more it is worth.

From score to tier

Each number's traits are combined — with related properties de-duplicated — into one score. Because we scored every number during the build, we can place any score at an exact percentile and assign one of seven tiers, from Standard up to Singular. A "Top 1%" number genuinely sits in the rarest one percent of the whole range.
