Five or More of One Digit

Five of a kind: one digit appears at least five times in the number, as in 888880 or 292222. Only six-digit numbers can reach this without being a full repdigit.

Reaching five repeats leaves at most one free digit, so almost the entire number is pinned to a single value. That leaves very little room for variety, which is why the count above stays so small relative to the full range.

This trait is the second strongest step on RNGdle's repetition ladder, just below a complete repdigit. A number fires whichever repetition tier is highest, so five-of-a-kind and quadruple never both count for the same number.

In the Infinite Roll simulator, five of a kind is a realistic long session goal — rare enough to feel earned, common enough to actually arrive.
