Triple Digits

A triple contains exactly three copies of one digit, such as 8188 or 636306. It is the most common form of strong repetition — and the first one most people notice.

Three of a kind is reachable from three digits upward, so it has by far the widest range of any repetition tier above a simple pair. The count above is correspondingly larger, and the rarity contribution correspondingly smaller.

Because RNGdle fires only the strongest repetition tier, a number with four copies of a digit is not also counted as a triple. Each number contributes its best repetition claim exactly once.

Triples are a good calibration point: if a number's only notable feature is a triple, it will usually land in the middle tiers rather than at the top of the distribution.
